Updates on Catalyst Missions and Grow University
Catalyst Missions
Last night (11/17), we watched an update video from our partner, Catalyst Missions. It was so encouraging to see men and women from all over the world reporting about how they are taking the Biblical training they’ve received from us and other partnering churches, and are “entrusting it to faithful” men and women who will be able to teach a multiplying “others also!”
You can watch this video below. Be on the lookout for familiar faces!
Prayer Requests:
that the Lord would produce much gospel fruit through our Catalyst partners in South Asia and elsewhere in 2022.
that they would love Christ supremely even in the face of persecution.
that the Lord would provide everything needed for our 2 on-site trainings during the year.
that the Lord would produce the same kind of multiplying work here in Callahan!
GROW University
With that last prayer request in mind, Pastor Justin laid out a road map for where we’re going over the next two years with GROW University. GU is a discipleship training school on Wednesday nights in the Fellowship Hall. Our focus is to Understand the scriptures, Apply them, and Teach them. Our tentative Course Schedule will include:

Spiritual Growth: How Do I Grow as a Disciple, and Make Disciples like Jesus Commanded?
Old Testament 102: 1 Kings - Malachi
Hermeneutics 101: How to Study the Bible
New Testament 101: The Life of Christ
Evangelism 101: What is the Gospel, and How Do I Share It?
New Testament 102: Acts, the Epistles, and Revelation
Apologetics: How Do I Give an Answer for the Hope that’s within Me?
Church History 101: How did we get from Acts 28 to today?
Systematic Theology: What Does All of the Bible Together Say about This?
Prayer Requests:
Pray for your pastors as they continue to write the GU curriculum.
that the Lord would continue making us a church family of disciple-makers!
toward that end, that God would help each of us to prioritize being equipped for this work through opportunities like GROW University and a disciple-making relationship this year.
